Drillichjacket M42

Summer uniform field jacket made of cotton in herringbone weave (HBT).

Produced in the years 1942 -1943 to be introduced in service the following summer season. This is the first summer field jacket model and was basically a copy in cotton of the standard wool uniform field blouse M42. Differences are: buttons are mounted with the help of s-rings with covered flaps. The lower bellows pockets were retained, but with a different shape. The holes for service belt fastening hooks remain only on the sides of the jacket, and the attachment straps are sewn directly to the coat.

This field jacket was used both was in combat and garrison duty.

The blouse comes with “BeVo” (manufacturer’s name) insignia: eagle on the right chest and branch tabs on the collar
