Kraftfahr-Bewahrungsabzeichen
Noszona na lewym rękawie munduru, 15 cm od krawędzi rękawa.
- Wykonana z mosiądzu
- Mocowana na 3 wąsy
- Podkładka sukienna, wzmocniona od spodu okrągłą blachą, podklejoną płótnem, zabezpieczającą mundur przed przetarciem.
Ustanowiona 23 października 1942 roku, z mocą wsteczną do 1 grudnia 1940, dla wszystkich zasłużonych.
Wymagania dotyczące przyznania odznaki klasy brązowej: 90 dni nieprzerwanej służby jako goniec motocyklowy, lub 120 dni nieprzerwanej służby, jako kierowca dostaw na pierwszą linie frontu, lub 135 dni nieprzerwanej służby, jako kierowca innych wojskowych pojazdów transportowych.
Odznaki srebrne lub złote były nadawane za dłuższe okresy służby, które mogły być skrócone, przy wykonywaniu zadań w szczególnie utrudnionych warunkach klimatycznych lub terenowych.
Wykonanie i wymiary są zgodne z oryginałem.
WH/Waffen SS Driver’s Insignia
Motorized Vehicle Driver Specialist Badge
Worn on the left sleeve of the uniform tunic, 15 cm (6 inches) above the end of the sleeve.
- Made of brass
- Fastened to Uniform with three flexible lead pins
- Has a wool oval shaped backing glued to a thin metal sheet and the badge to protect the sleeve from abrasion from the brass metal
This Award was established on 23 October 1942 but retroactive to 1 December 1940 for all who qualified to wear the insignia.
Requirements for receiving the Bronze Class Insignia were 90 days of uninterrupted service as a motorcycle courier; or 120 days of uninterrupted service as a supply truck driver on the front line; or 135 days of uninterrupted service as a driver of other military transport vehicles.
The silver or gold versions of this insignia were awarded for long periods of service which could have been shortened by completing missions under especially difficult climate or terrain conditions.
The manufacture and measurements of this replica insignia are just like the original.
