This replica rifle can be loaded and the trigger pulled to simulate a shot fired. It has a removable magazine.

Assault Rifle StG 44 (MP43, MP44, StG44) was designed in 1942 to meet the need for a rapid fire weapon which had the capabilities of a semi-automatic rifle and a fully automatic sub machine gun/machinenpistole; i.e., capable of continuous automatic fire and continuous single shot fire, combined with low weight.

This is one of the first automatic rifles with a medium caliber round introduced into the ordnance inventory.

Assault Rifle StG44 Sturmgewehr MP44 has nothing to do with the later kalashnikov assault rifle.
