This is an inert weapon, but it has a removal magazine which can be reloaded into pistol, the weapon cocked, and the trigger pulled.

The pistol was designed by Georg Luger and was adopted as the standard side arm of the German Army in 1908. Produced in three versions, our Luger is the Army model with a 102 mm (four inch) barrel. The Navy version had a 152 mm (six inch) barrel, and the Artillery model had a 203 mm (eight inch) barrel.

The Luger P08 produced until 1942; however, it was gradually replaced by the Walther P38 which was less likely to jam, easier to manufacture, and, therefore, cost less to produce.
