Odznaka Strzelecka I klasy - Złota

Odznaka Strzelecka przyznawana przez władze Związku Strzeleckiego członkom ZS, jednostek Przysposobienia Wojskowego oraz żołnierzom służby czynnej za osiągnięcia w strzelectwie sportowym.

Odznakę zaprojektował por. Zygmunt Gliński. Regulamin odznaki został zatwierdzony w 1932 roku przez dyrektora PUWFiPW płk. dypl. Władysława Kilińskiego.

Wymogi przyznania odznaki były ściśle określone, by ją zdobyć trzeba było uzyskać określoną liczbę punktów dla danego stopnia odznaki. Wówczas była przyznawana na rok czasu, a dopiero po trzykrotnym osiągnięciu danego wyniku była przyznawana dożywotnio. By zdobyć odznakę wyższej klasy trzeba było najpierw posiadać odznakę niższej klasy.

Najbardziej znane zawody, podczas których można było zdobyć Odznakę Strzelecką to zawody „10 strzałów ku chwale Ojczyzny” odbywające się od 1932 roku.
Nie posiadając Odznaki Strzeleckiej nie można było starować w Narodowych Zawodach Strzeleckich.

Marksman III Class Badge - Gold

The Marksman’s Badge was awarded by the Marksman Union to its members, military trainees, and soldiers on active duty for achievements in sport shooting events. 

The Badge was designed by Lt. Zygmunt Glinski. Regulations for the Badge were issued in 1932 by the Director of PUWFiPW, Col. (GS) Wladyslaw Kilinski. 

Requirements for receiving the badge were described in detail. In order to receive the award, it was necessary achieve the required number of points for each Class of the badge. At that time, it was awarded for a year’s time, and only then after achieving the required results three times was the badge awarded for life. In order to win the award of a higher class, it was necessary to first possess the award of the class below.  

The most often named circumstances during which the Marksman’s Badge could be won were “10 shots which brought honor to the Fatherland,” beginning in 1932.. If a soldier had not been awarded the Marksman’s Badge, he could not be participate in the National Marksman Competition.
