Bagnet Lebel Mod.1886 po modyfikacji z roku 1915 francuski bagnet – szpada Epee Baionnette Modele 1886.

Pierwszy francuski bagnet mocowany pod lufą karabinu, opracowany w państwowej fabryce zbrojeniowej Manufacture d’armes de Chatellerault (MAC) do karabinu powtarzalnego Lebel Mle 1886.

Bagnety te dotarły do Polski wraz z Armią Hallera, która była uzbrojona w karabiny Lebel Mle 1886/93.

Jeszcze w 1920 roku, podczas wojny Polsko- Bolszewickiej zakupiono spore ilości tych bagnetów.

W chwili wybuchu II Wojny Światowej Wojsko Polskie posiadało w swoich magazynach 237 tysięcy bagnetów Lebel Mle.1886 Mod.1915

Bayonet Lebel Mod. 1886 with 1915 modification replaced the Epee Bayonet Mod. 1886.

This was the first French bayonet attached under the barrel of the service rifle. It was manufactured at the state armaments factory, Manufacture d’armes Chatellerault (MAC), for use with the repeating rifle Lebel Mle 1886.

These bayonets made their way to Poland with the Haller Army, which was armed with Lebel Mle 1886/93 Rifle.

And in 1920, during the Polish-Bolshevik War, Poland purchased several thousand of these bayonets.  

At the time of the outbreak of WW II the Polish Army possessed in its magazines 237,000 bayonets Lebel Mle 1886 Mod.1915.
