Odznaka za zniszczenie czołgu Panzer-Vernichtungabzeichen

Wehrmacht/Waffen SS - Złota 

Złota odznaka za własnoręczne zniszczenie 5 z kolei czołgu.

Przy piątym zniszczonym czołgu zdejmowano wcześniejsze srebrne odznaki, zastępując je jedną złotą.

Ustanowiona rozkazem z dnia 9 marca 1942 roku , co ciekawe została datowana wstecz, z dniem 22 czerwca 1941 roku, tak by mogli ją otrzymać żołnierze biorący udział w Kampanii Rosyjskiej.

Wymiary odznaki to 8,5cm długości i 3cm wysokości, oraz po 3 mm czarnego podkładu. Wizerunek czołgu wykonany z mosiądzu i oksydowany. Czołg na plakietce to mieszanka czołgu PzKpfw III i PzKpfw IV.

Odznaka przyznawana dla każdego zasłużonego żołnierza, bez względu na stopień.

Mocowana na prawym rękawie munduru, w połowie długości od ramienia do łokcia. 

Wymiary i wykonanie zgodne z oryginałem. 

Badge for destruction of a Tank, the “Panzer-Vernichtungabzeichen

Wehrmacht/Waffen SS - Gold

The Gold badge was awarded single handedly destroying five tanks.

When a soldier destroyed his fifth tank, the earlier awarded Silver Panzer-Vernichtungsabzeichen would be replaced with the Gold Badge.

Established by decree on 9 March 1942, but awarded retroactively to qualified soldiers who had taken part in the Russia Campaign that had begun on 22 June 1941.

The Badge is 8.5 cm (3 3/8 inches) long and 3 cm (1 1/8 inches) high, with a 3 mm (1/8 inch) thickness with the black cloth award backing. 

The tank image on the award is made from brass and is oxidized. The image of the tank was either a Panzer III (PzKpfw III) or IV (PzKpfw IV).

This badge was awarded to every soldier who deserved it, regardless of rank.

The insignia was worn on the right sleeve of the uniform tunic halfway between the elbow and the shoulder.

The dimensions and the finished badge are just like the original.
