Wz.15 Adrian helmet was developed in 1915 by Colonel Louis Adrian, who was the chief authorizing/acquisitions officer of the French army at that time. Produced from steel sheets, formed by pressing steel shell fragments and other used steel together. Forward and rear protective visors. Because of the manufacturing process, where parts of the helmet are welded together, a characteristic bulge remains.
Wz.15 Adrian helmets were used by many armies in the world. In Poland it was the standard military helmet until the introduction of the Polish production helmet, model wz.31.
Wz.15 Adrian helmet was used by both cavalry and infantry.
