Mundur M43 został wprowadzony w 1942 roku jako mundur testowy w Dywizji Grossdeutschland oraz kilku innych. Zdał egzamin i wszedł do powszechnego użytku w 1943 roku.

Bluza M43 jest kontynuacją polityki upraszczania munduru, szybszej jego masowej produkcji i obniżeniu kosztów, które grały istotną role w teatrze działań wojennych.

Uproszczenia polegały na zlikwidowaniu kontrafałd na kieszeniach, natomiast klapy kieszeni wyprostowano.

Pozbyto się też systemu podtrzymywania pasa zastępując go kawałkami taśmy, w której montowano haki. Taśma była przyszywana bezpośrednio do munduru. Podszewkę bawełnianą zastąpiono satynową, znacznie tańszą i łatwiejszą w pozyskaniu.

Mundur był produkowany i używany w latach 1943-1945.

Mundur szyjemy na miarę:

Po zakupie wysyłamy tabelę wymiarów do uzupełnienia. Od momentu otrzymania wypełnionej tabeli czas oczekiwania na uszycie munduru i nadanie przesyłki wynosi do 14 dni roboczych.

An exact replica of the original:

• Material: Wool uniform cloth in field gray. (This fabric was made at our request by the Bavarian Factory which produced uniforms for the German Army during WW II.) 
• Satin lining
• Dimpled, non reflecting buttons marked with initials of the original manufacturer R.D.
• We have used the original thread, produced by the same firm that made it during WW II and remanufactured at our request, to sew these uniforms.

Included in the cost of this uniform are the insignia of an SS-Rifleman:

• Infantry piping on the epaulettes
• Collar patches of an SS-Rifleman 
• Waffen SS eagle insignia on sleeve

We can make this uniform in the service branch color of your choice:

• White - Infantry
• Black - Sappers and Engineers
• Yellow - Cavalry
• Red - Artillery
• Azure - Motorized Units and Drivers
• Maize - Medical Units and Personnel

The sample uniform photos show a tunic for an SS-Sturmmann (Storm Trooper), equivalent to a Corporal, from a motorized unit with a silver Driver’s insignia on his sleeve.

The M43 uniform was introduced in 1942 for test purposes in the Grossdeutschland Division and several other units. It passed muster and entered into general use in 1943.

The M43 tunic continued the policy of simplifying uniforms to speed up mass production and reduce costs. These actions played essential roles in supporting military operations.

The uniform was simplified by eliminating the bellows tunic pockets and simplifying the cut of the pocket flaps.

Manufacturers also eliminated the service belt support system replacing it with tape on which belt hooks were mounted. The tape was sewn directly on to the uniform. A cotton lining replaced the original satin lining, significantly lowering costs while being easier to use in the tunic’s manufacture.

The uniform was produced and used in the years 1943-1945.
