Odznaka używana przez Batalion Parasol w czasie Powstania Warszawskiego.
Wykonana ręcznie, na czerwonym suknie, naszyty biały Parasol, całość na sztywniejszej płóciennej podkładce.
Batalion Parasol: za datę powstania batalionu przyjmuje się 1 sierpnia 1944 roku.
Batalion nosił wtedy nazwę Agat, w styczniu przemianowany na Pegaz. Po kolejnych aresztowaniach i w wyniku reorganizacji w maju 1944 przyjmuje nazwę Batalion Parasol pod dowództwem mianowanego do stopnia majora Adama Borysa.
Do najsłynniejszych akcji zalicza się „Akcje Kutschera”z 1 lutego 1944 roku.
Podczas Powstania Warszawskiego Batalion Parasol wszedł do zgrupowania Kedywu KG AK „Radosław”. 8 sierpnia Batalion Parasol osiąga stan osobowy 574 ludzi.
Straty Batalionu Parasol w czasie Powstania Warszawskiego to 282 poległych.
Za walki w Powstaniu Warszawskim Wódz Naczelny odznaczył batalion Krzyżem Srebrnym Orderu Wojennego Virtuti Militari.
Dzisiaj tradycje Batalionu Parasol kultywuje Zespół Bojowy C Jednostki Wojskowe Komandosów z Lublińca.

Unit insignia used by Umbrella Battalion during the Warsaw Uprising.
Made by hand, on a red wool uniform cloth, with white umbrella sewn onto red patch and a stiff canvas pad as the base.
Battalion Umbrella: the battalion was established on 1 August 1944.
The battalion bore the name of Agat at that time. In January it was renamed Pegasus. After a series of arrests and as a result of a reorganization, in May 1944, it took the name “Parasoll” (Umbrella) Battalion under the command of newly promoted Major Adam Borys.
The unit’s most famous action was “Operation Kutscher” on February 1, 1944.
During the Warsaw Uprising, the Battalion joined the Home Army grouping Kedyw KG AK "Radoslaw". By August 8, 1944, the Battalion Umbrella had 574 effective fighters in its ranks.
The Umbrella Battalion lost 282 killed in action during the Warsaw Uprising.
For fighting in the Warsaw Uprising, the Commander in Chief awarded the Silver Cross Virtuti Militari to the Battalion.
Today Combat Team C, a unit of the Army Commandos in Lubliniec, carries on the traditions of the Umbrella Battalion.
